Dear Violette: What is the difference between Violette Market oil based perfumes and conventional fragrances?
Gentle Customer: Violette Market uses no fillers, alcohol, or preservative in your perfume. We believe in the power and beauty of essential oils and you will find our blends to be composed of the finest quality oils around. Because of the high concentration of essential oils, blends will smell differently on everyone because everyone has their own unique body chemistry. We think this is one of the best qualities of perfume oils!
Dear Violette:Do you use any preservatives in your body care products?
Gentle Customer: Our products are formulated to be mild and use a large percentage of naturally derived ingredients. We use just enough preservative (usually paraben free) to ensure safe usage and a reasonable shelf life.
Dear Violette: Once I place an order, how long will it take to arrive?
Gentle Customer: We work hard to get all packages out within 5 to 7 business days of receiving an order. Please keep in mind that each bottle of perfume and each bath and body product are hand blended and filled individually, by hand, to ensure freshness. This might take a few days more, but we think you will agree that products blended just for you are certainly worth the wait! Additionally, possible delays may include stock shortages and heavier than usual order volume, but we will always contact you if this is the case.
Dear Violette:How can I receive FREE shipping?
Gentle Customer: We're glad you asked! All Violette Market orders are shipped at no cost to you if your purchase totals $100.00 or more. Even International packages! It's our way of saying thanks.
Dear Violette: I used your perfume and I broke out in hives! What to do?
Gentle Customer: Stop using the product immediately! People are sensitive to different fragrances and oils, both natural and synthetic. If you have a reaction to any product you should discontinue use. Violette Market’s products are tested for safety on human beings, but each person is unique.
While we are on the topic, please do not try to eat the products, no matter how lovely they smell. Also, do not stick them in your eyes, nose, or other opening to your or anyone else’s body. Doing so violates most rules of etiquette and good taste. They are meant for external use only. We are not responsible if you decide to get “creative” with your products.
Dear Violette: I ordered a product and it doesn’t seem the same as last time. It is (thinner/thicker/opaque/clear). Is it bad?
Gentle Customer: Because we to use a minimum of additional ingredients in our products, the consistency can vary from batch to batch, and the fragrance added can also affect the appearance and/or texture. This does not affect the quality of the product for use.
